The results are in for the Stoney Cove/DIVER Magazine Digital Photo Splash-In.

A strong performance from the East Midlands Underwater Photographers group (Emup), saw Tim Priest winning the competition overall, and Tim Ingmire coming third. Both Tim's won categories (Close-up for Tim Priest and Aquatic Life for Tim Ingmire), also Tim Priest came second in the Wide-angle categories. Rob Cuss came second in the Aquatic Life categories.

And even me, I managed to get a second in the Close-up categories, behind Tim priest.

Stoney Cove/DIVER Magazine
Digital Photo Splash-In

This is an opportunity for everyone to stake their claim to fame. 

All levels of ability are welcome, and even the most seasoned photographers, will be only as good as they are on the day.

There will be prizes for the winners, and free hot drinks and magazines from the DIVER Magazine marquee (near the shower-block) for competitors, supporters and other divers enjoying a dip in Stoney Cove.

Emup monthly meeting.

Now established ,  the East midlands underwater photographers group (emup). Have monthly meetings based at Stoney cove dive quarry in Leicestershire.

Special talker for this next meeting, is Mr. Alexander  Mustard.

His talk will cover many of the common subjects we all photograph, and he will be discussing the aesthetic considerations and techniques he uses.

First Emup meeting.

This was the first meeting for the East midlands underwater photographers group (emup). Although not just for underwater photography, it is based at stoney cove dive quarry in Leicestershire. And has been setup to help all underwater photographers, underwater film makers, divers, non-divers and anyone interested in learning more, or just to help improve their photography skills.
